Truth is, we are all gu-gu for GaGa. Ever since her stuff debuted, she has been making headlines for her music but more importantly her fashion. I am going to let Maddie spill her soul on this one because she is well, GaGa obsessed.
My take on Gaga:

My take on Gaga:
Love her music. Love some of her statements but some are just TOO far gone for me.

The bubble outfit. Bold…check. Do I like it? I’m not so sure. I think it’s a really cool costume but I’m not in love with it. I think she could have done something a little more tasteful and different. The bubble suit was seen first on the Chinese runway and while I think it looked rockin’ on stage something about it rubs me the wrong way.

Now I know some people are going to be like “Sam, you’re contradicting yourself on this one” but the block dress is as if she’s wearing art and I think its banging. Its different than the bubble dress in that it’s NOT see thru and the gold accents against the black leather dress work wonders. Her tiny frame is beyond flattered here and Gaga is working the runway hard. I’m not sure if I like the white shape dress as much as the black and gold just because I think the colors really add to the dress and the white is not as vibrant. The cut of the dress is gorgeous but if I had to pick one, I’d take the black…thoughts?

One question: Zenon the sequel anyone? She took this one way out of the galaxy.

Lady GaGa is absolutely gorgeous, don’t get me wrong (and her tunes are poppin!) and lets be for cereal right now- she’s making some serious fashion statements right now and whether I’m for against them…I am still on the fence.

For Madeline, Lady Gaga is fabulous. After seeing her in concert, I have absolutely no doubts that she is an idol, one to be remembered. Her influence is apparent, especially if you look at some trends in Forever21 and other stores for teenaged girls. They are toned down versions of Lady Gaga's fashions, of course, but setting trends is what being an idol is all about.
I think what is important to consider when looking at her wardrobe is that she aims to shock. And she never fails to do just that. There are many things of hers that I would never wear, but I think she does so brilliantly. For example, the bubble dress - I would never where that, but I think as an artists, as basically a performance artist, the Bubble dress is something she can pull off.
Some looks for hers that I love include her use of leotards (why not show off great legs, and when shes performing she doesn't have to be afraid of bearing her cooch to the world). I also love her use of creative head pieces. Her hair bow definately influenced some bow headbands. I also love the same rock dress that Sammy described - the picture of it below is the version she wore to the concert I saw - so I'm partial to this version I think. I would also like to point out that she sticks to black and white in a very smart way. Too much color with the shapes and styles that she wears would be overwhelming, and shes a genius to see that. I also love her music and philosophy. Seriously, see her in concert, I promise you won't be disapointed!
