A look back: Fall Semester

As winter comes and the fall semester leaves, it's time to take a look back at our favorite outfits from the fall semester. Good luck on finals (if you have them!) and remember to check out safeinmypocket.blogspot.com every Tuesday and Friday for posts!

Let the glance back begin...

In this picture (left to right: Liana, Me, Eileen) we were dressing for a "blackout" party. Everyone's outfits were FAB and both Liana and Eileen found fun booby dresses to work that night. Eileen is wearing a sweatshirt material Free People dress in black gradients and Liana is wearing the classic American Apparel shirt dress. I am wearing a plain blank tank paired with a Forever21 tutu skirt, neon purple tights (which will appear again in this blog) and black high-tops. Got to make every outfit count...

Janelle, am I making you feel awkward yet? I love this dress (another Free People find) paired with an American Apparel tube and my cowboy boots from gojane.com. So fun, fresh and different.

True life, this picture is now a Christmas card and I don' t know if I like it so much because my hair is actually perfect curls or because I'm slightly obsessed with the dress. Either way, both Janelle and I are wearing Urban in unique ways. My white and flowered dress paired with the rights makes it a funkier way to rock a strapless dress (and warmer too!). You can't see Janelle's legs, but the blue tribal wrap skirt paired with a simple black heal make Janelle's legs look model-icious.

Another fun night of outfits! Sqashed between Janelle and I, Corinne is wearing an adorable and simple black dress that was perfect for the warm early October weather. Her gold flats are so cute and casual for an easy night with the girls. I am wearing a Free People velvet dress (I love the fit of it, thanks Eileen!)...the simple mocc dresses down the dress a little and was very comfy to wear walking around the Heights. Janelle is wearing a retro leopard dress with some fun flat sandals. All around, a fun, cute and easy night.

I really enjoyed wearing this outfit. The tank (by Ella Moss) was so cozy to wear and I paired it with my FAVORITE Joe's jeans. Of course, what's a night with out sunglasses- the classic Urban leopard print glasses was a must add to the curly pig tails of early October.

Lastly, I love this picture, I love these girls and I loveee their outfits! Brenna is wearing a GREAT orange meets salmon tank with wonderful skinny black jeans as Janelle goes all hippy chic on us with a high waisted skirt and scarf meets belt meets headband. Color is just so important and these two lovely ladies repped them well.

Now for Madeline. This semester has been fun, there were a lot of new and exciting changes happening, and it is especially interesting to look back on what everyone has been wearing. Let us remember.

Starting with the most recent: A picture of last weekend. Carrie had a Barbie themed birthday party, and people really go creative. Here is the birthday girl herself in her Rockin Rappin Barbie (an actual Barbie) outfit. I was a nineties themed Barbie, Keds and jean jacket included. It was a theme party with many possibilities and many successes.

Also last weekend is a picture of Carrie, Amartya and I getting ready for another friend's birthday party. All of sport cute, new clothes. I'm wearing new blue skinny jeans with a flouncy floral top, while Carrie rocks a beautifully detailed Anthropologie top that she got for her birthday. Amartya always looks cute and put together, and although you can't see them, her silver flats really made the whole outfit.

I don't know what it is about us three, I guess we're always looking good when we're together! I loved all of our looks on this outing we took over October Break. All of us fully took advantage of the beautiful fall weather, wearing boots and dark rich colors.
This last picture is a picture of a Fancy Friday party, where it was an all girls night, and we all got dressed up nice. I was less on the fancy side because I was later attending a bonfire, but everyone looked all in all really cute. We clean up nice, no?
Well good luck with finals and break is almost here! Then well have plenty of time to sit back and relax and enjoy fashion!
