I'm raiding your closet...

True life: being home last week with my friends made me realize how much I missed them (as if that wasn't obvious enough!). And after they were able to recite actual blog lines back to Maddie and I, we came to the realization that we need a blog about them! Well, DUH. So- Char, Michaela and Alissa, thank you for being safe in our pockets, and if any of your clothes go missing over Christmas break, well, let's just say it wasn't us.

Quick Prom flashback. Just throwing it out there that these 5 dresses were classy, tasteful and fab. While some other groups of friends went for the highlighter/ slut look, the cinco of us kept it classy and clean (as always). The color palate worked perfectly together and truthfully, how often can you wear a long elaborate dress? Answer: hardly ever so I am truly glad we all did just that.

From left to right: Maddie (in BCBG Max), Michaela (Laundry), Charlotte, Sammy (in Laundry), and Alissa (BCBG)

Sammy: Now Charlotte and I go way back (we're talking Barbie Dolls and brother's baseball games here), so I have seen her fashion sense and style evolve into something fun and flirty. Let's just say we've come a long way from baseball pants and ponchos...

So, I was admittedly facebook stalking and came across this recently added photo of Char looking FAB in a stunning blue dress. Perfectly fit in the chestal region, the cut is perfect for her. The color makes her sea blue eyes pop and her hair just looks soft and yummy (no lessy). The length too works perfectly for the sorority semi that she was attending.

The next picture is one of my favorite shirts of Charlotte's that she might not have after Christmas break if I have a say in anything... From forever21, its a find and a half! I love the fake jean color and the elastic waist cut is so funky and fresh. I have a Free People top just like it and I wish I saw the forever spin off first. What a divertido top to pair with skinny jeans, poppin necklaces or even a white capri in summer!

Sammy: Now...Alissa. Alissa has always been the Queen of tops. No matter what, she has a tank top with a sparkle to bear- and I love it. If I could only steal one thing from Alissa's closet it would totally be her bootay. But needless to say, that's well attached so I am going to have to borrow some clothes.

Here Alissa is wearing one of my favorite and classic Urban pieces. I actually wore this dress (in another color) to my Senior Banquet but I love the brightness of Alissa's dress. Pamela on Army Wives wore it during season 2 and I had a minor freakout. Alissa's flowing summer locks add to the look and she just looks like a princess on top of a cake.

Back in the day, Alissa, Charlotte and I took some intense tennis lessons with the one and only Chevy. Alissa was always rockin' the tennis get up hard and as seen here, she is dressed for a fine match (which I believe her and Maddie lost to Ray Charles and I). Those glasses might be gone after xmas break, but believe me, it wasn't me- it was Hannukkah Harry.

Sammy: Now, Miss Michaela. Now, for anyone to look at Michaela, it's easy to know what we would steal from her arsenal...her fab and gorg red curly hair. Now, we're not talking frizz red hair, we're talking ringlets of auburn, copper fabulousness. The blue shirt in the picture below set off her blue bird blue eyes and play a nice compliment to her hair. The shirt is also wonderful- love the sassy cut out design- perfect paired with a sweater for class or a lunch date and then easily convertible for a night out in DC. Little shout out to Britt- I LOVE the outfit- mustard yellow- so inn and paired with the tight black shirt is absolutely bangin'. A+ outfit in my book (and love the curl representation).
Now, for Michaela's birthday a few years back, we gave her a pearl necklace and I think this is the perfect essential for her wardrobe (and a staple for anyone elses). Michaela's prep is brought full circle with the necklace and it is so fun with her freckles and this round neck blue dress. Paired with anything, the necklace speaks for herself and makes Michaela classy and mature while still being flirty and fun (wink;) ).

Madeline: Sammy's right when she says that there might be some clothes missing from these threes' closets when they leave to back to school after break. Good thing we all love to share!

Charlotte has always handled the balance of following the trends and keeping classic pieces really well. She has this one shirt that I have always envied, I'd say its a major staple in her closet. It is a flowing, greek goddess-evoking white and gold shirt, that can be dressed up or down. Its perfect for the summer, when she is sporting a fabulous tan, and it really plays well off of her golden-blond locks as well. Goddess she is.

Another thing Charlotte really has a handle on is her accessories. I always love her necklaces and endless repertoire of chandelier earrings, not to mention shoes, bags, belts, I could go on and on. One of my favorites was a belt that she had gotten since being at college, and so the first time I saw it was this summer, when we got dressed up fancy for a nice dinner down on the Cape. It was a gold rope-style belt with a sleek almost asymmetrical buckle. She wore it perfectly with another white, flowing goddess top, and skinny jeans, to off set the volume of her shirt. I would def steal that belt in a heart beat.

Michaela has always known how to keep it classy and preppy, and here is an outfit she wore recently that I think really captures that. She wears a purple thin cable knit sweater, with wide-legged jeans and healed ankle boots. She looked really put together and classic. For jewelry she wore what I would consider her most classic Michaela necklaces. It is a small pendant with a flower on it, with a small pearl strung above it. Its really simple, but unique and interesting too. It really topped of fthe outfit as a whole. The sweater, which I have a bias for because I got it for her last christmas, is the perfect color to compliment ehr hair and skin, and the small cable knit pattern makes it not to chunky, so that you can wear it like you woud wear a thin t-shirt, and not like some heavy sweater.

Another one of my favorite of Michaela's clothes is this shear, light blue cardigan she has. It is three quarter length sleeves, and jsut perfect for topping off a summer dress or tank top. Again, blue is a really good color for Michaela's hair and skin, and she always pairs it really well. I would definitely steal.

Last but not least is Alissa. If there are three things Alissa knows how to do with clothes its a) match colors, 2) make the clothes her own, and 3) pick out great dresses. Examples show Alissa with all pick accessories, pink gloves, scarf and bag.

Next is her black Senior Banquet dress, which she had shortened. I myself am a little bit afraid of the tailor, but Alissa is well acquainted, and this has done great things for her, like this dress, and lots of other pairs of paints.

And lastly is a picture of all three of us in three cute dresses of Alissa's. So cute we couldn't resist. I love the fun patterns of Alissa's and mine, and the one Michaela is wearing is classic with the Greek braiding!

Well, thats it for now! Good luck with finals coming up!
